The closure rate shows whether feedback is turning into finished work.
How it is worked out
It is the share of feedback that has at least one linked action currently marked Done. It counts feedback that has a theme and is not marked sensitive, across all time. It appears once at least 5 items are counted.
What counts, and what does not
- Counts: feedback with a linked action that is Done. If several actions are linked to one item, it counts once as closed when any of them is Done.
- Does not count: a reply, a closing decision (acknowledged, not feasible, handled separately), an approved story, or an action that is not linked to feedback.
- Left out entirely: feedback marked sensitive.
If you reopen an action
If you move a Done action back to Open or In progress, that action no longer qualifies as Done and the rate can fall. The feedback counts as closed only while at least one linked action is currently Done. Mark the action Done again and it counts again.
Other numbers on your dashboard
- Actions done (last 90 days) is a different number: the share of actions created in the last 90 days that have been completed at least once. Reopening an action does not remove it from this figure. It starts from actions, not feedback.
- Average days to act appears on your careers widget. It is the average number of days from an action being created to it being marked Done, for actions that are Done now. It appears once at least 5 actions are Done.
FAQ
Why is my closure rate 0%?
No linked action has been marked Done yet. Open Act, then finish one.
Why is the closure rate missing?
Fewer than 5 feedback items are counted, or your plan does not include it. On the Starter plan the card shows as locked.
Why is it different from “Actions done”?
They start from different things. The closure rate starts from feedback. Actions done starts from actions.
Does replying to someone close the loop?
No. A reply tells them you saw it. Only a completed action counts.
