Privacy and employee anonymity

Understand anonymous feedback, department visibility, private reply links, reporting thresholds, sensitive feedback and story author visibility.

For: Everyone

Kriqy does not show a person’s name with their feedback, and it hides survey, mood and score results until enough people have contributed. Here is exactly what is stored and who can see it.

What Kriqy stores with a feedback message

The message, your department, its theme and the day it was sent. No name, no email and no user account is saved with it. After you send, you get a private reply link, shown once.

Your private reply link

  • It is shown once, right after you send. Anyone who has the link can read and answer replies on that message, so keep it private.
  • Kriqy does not email it and cannot show it to you again, because nothing connects the message to you. If you lose it, send a new message.
  • Replies in a thread show their exact date and time to the managers and admins who can read the thread.

What anonymity does not cover

  • The words you write. Kriqy does not remove details from a message. In a small team or department, the wording alone can point to one person. Leave out dates, project names, client names and anything only you would know.
  • Individual messages. The rule of 5 applies to results. It does not hide a single message from the admins and managers who can read it.
  • Stories and recognition. Stories show their author to admins and managers. They are not anonymous.

Sensitive feedback

Only an admin can mark a message sensitive. Managers then cannot see it, it cannot be turned into a story, and it is left out of the closure rate. An admin can unmark it.

What Kriqy does not do

It does not use AI to read or score your feedback. It does not publish feedback, replies or action text. The careers widget shows approved stories only, plus two summary figures.

FAQ

Can my manager see that I wrote something?

They can see the message and the department, not your name. A manager sees only messages from their own department. In a small department, the words can still point to someone, so leave out identifying details.

Can I edit or delete what I sent?

No. You can reply on your private link, up to 5 replies every 15 minutes.

Does Kriqy keep a record of who sent feedback?

No name or user account is saved with a message. To limit spam, Kriqy briefly counts how often each person sends, without the message. That count is deleted within a few hours.

Is mood anonymous?

Yes. A check-in stores your department, the score and the day, never your name. Kriqy stops a second check-in on the same day without recording which check-in was yours.

Are survey answers anonymous?

Answers are stored with your department and the day, not your name. Kriqy separately records that you took part, so it can count respondents, but not what you answered.
